We are excited to launch the 4th edition of our annual photography contest, and this year we’re introducing a striking new theme: Black & White Photography.

Explore Vergelegen’s heritage architecture, dramatic landscapes, gardens, and unique textures — all through the timeless artistry of monochrome.

Contest Details:

• Photos must be taken at Vergelegen during April–May.
• Black & White only.
• Limited to two photographs entered per person
• Camera, Smartphone, and Junior categories, plus People’s Choice.
• Guided photo walks with Orms Direct will take place on 18 April & 16 May.

This stylish subterranean salon-style room centres around a long table for up to 16 guests, designed for celebrations, intimate corporate dinners and special occasions that call for something a little more private.

Chef Jürgen Snyman curates signature menus for the table, each course thoughtfully paired with premium wines from the Durbanville Wine Route. Expect a considered selection of potstill brandies, gins and whiskies to round out the experience, making the cellar an ideal setting for long lunches, milestone dinners and evenings that unfold at an unhurried pace.
