October at Baccō is a season on a plate.

From the velvet sweetness of beetroot carpaccio with whipped Belnori chèvre, to the deep comfort of slow-cooked curried mutton risotto, every dish is designed to be shared, savoured, and remembered. 

Think French oak smoked trout kissed with fennel and orange, oxtail folded into saffron cream, and confit duck with roasted butternut, flavours that echo both the land and the artistry behind our estate.

Come and immerse yourself in the balmy charm of our garden: join an exclusive guided late-afternoon garden walk, followed by a harvest feast hosted by Babylonstoren’s gardeners.

As we bask in the beauty of spring’s longer days, we invite you to celebrate the lingering sunset on Garden Day. The evening starts with a farm-inspired sundowner and flower crown-making session, before heading out into the garden.

After the last day visitors have left, an ambiance of tranquillity sets in, giving us the chance to savour this sacred time of day guided by Babylonstoren’s attentive gardeners.

Guests will also have the opportunity to leisurely wander through the garden, stopping at the olive oil and Mourvèdre Rosé tasting stations. As dusk falls, we’ll enjoy a spring harvest feast at a lush table among the citrus trees.

Kick off your shoes, feel the earth beneath your feet and unwind. With a glass of wine in hand and soothing jazz melodies, this is the time to relax and celebrate the essence of Garden Day!

Our tastings are available daily between Monday to Sundays between 10:00 and 16:00.
