ROOFTOP ACCESS – We have both stair and elevator access to the rooftop.

Treat your Friends or Family to an Evening of Stargazing through High-Powered Telescopes!

Join us for "Stargazing with Vic's Telescopes" at the beautiful Casalinga function venue in Muldersdrift. This serene location features expansive open lawns and dark skies, offering the perfect escape from the city’s bright lights.

Through powerful telescopes you'll observe the majesty of the moon and even get a chance to take a pic of it with your phone through the telescope! But that's not all, you’ll also marvel at Jupiter (you'll even see the gas clouds on the planet) and Mars. Apart from the planets, you'll also be able to observe nebulae, double-stars, asterisms and star clusters (including the Heart Cluster for the romantics!).
Your guide, Vicus Cruywagen—a passionate telescope maker and observer of the night sky—will kick off the night with a fascinating talk about the universe and the wonders you’ll observe. Then, you’ll have the rare opportunity to view these celestial marvels through high-powered telescopes.

Event Attendance & Guidelines

• Arrival Time: Please arrive 10 minutes (or earlier) before the event start time.
• Food & Seating: Food and drinks are available for purchase from the on-site restaurant (both sit-down and takeaway options). Outside food and beverages are NOT permitted on the premises. Please bring your own camping chairs or picnic blankets.
• Ticket Policy: Tickets are non-refundable. However, if the event is postponed due to bad weather, your ticket will be transferred to a future date of your choice during the upcoming year.
