Here’s what you can expect...

The feast begins with delicious homemade soup and honey bread. While you sip on a ‘Dawa*’ (the traditional house cocktail of vodka, honey and lime), a Lazy Susan with a small flag on top, is placed in the centre of your table, bearing six different fresh salads and various sauces to compliment your meal.

Waiters circulate wielding Masaai spears with at least 15 types of game and domestic meats, ranging from beef, chicken, boerewors and pork to ostrich, kudu and crocodile, to name just a few-all charcoal-grilled and expertly carved directly onto your hot cast-iron plate. Traditional ‘pap’, Sheba sauce, and a baked potato accompany this ‘Beast of a Feast’.

Eat as much as you wish and when you have had your fill, you ‘surrender’ by lowering the flag on your Lazy Susan! A selection of delicious desserts, accompanied by tea or coffee, rounds off the meal.

Manna offers a full range of wheat and gluten free breads and brioche, desserts in jars, flavoured salts, lavender cordial, jams, spreads, our renowned cookies, French delicacies and individual sweets.

The Manor wine tastings and pairings let you taste, learn and discover a wonderful world of flavour. Try one of the following experiences by pre-booking:

• The Manor Wine Tasting (+-30 minutes) - Choose five wines to taste from a regularly changing list of Nederburg wines, at R75 per person.
• The Brew Tasting (+-45 minutes) - A selection of wines with single-origin and blended coffees as well as small food items (a first of its kind, as far as we know), at R165 per person.
• Heritage Heroes Canapé & Wine Pairing (+-45 minutes) - Three delicious canapés paired with Nederburg’s Heritage Heroes collection of award-winning wines (The Anchor Man Old Vine Chenin Blanc, The Brew Master Bordeaux-style red blend and The Motorcycle Marvel Rhône-styled red blend). Choose between a meat or vegetarian option. R195 per person.
• ‘Dinner’ of Discovery Experience (+-60 minutes) - Taste your way through a three-course canapé-style food and wine pairing, first served blind-folded and then sighted. To add an extra dimension to the experience, the second and third courses are presented not only unseen, but also with the addition of evocative sounds. Discover what happens!  R550 per person.
