For us, lunch is a joyous occasion to be enjoyed with delicious food, excellent wine and great company.
Our restaurant offers the very best in Winelands cuisine. Our lunch menu is regularly updated according to seasonality,and our chef only uses the freshest locally sourced ingredients, including from our very own garden. We also have a fantastic kids menu and great selection of artisanal beers. The kitchen is open from 11:00 daily and serves a sensational snack menu, lunches and cakes throughout the day. The food is wholesome, hearty and delicious – you will want to linger long and savour it.

Conferences
Experience the relaxed luxury of a conference in the Franschhoek Winelands. With our central location in the heart of the Cape Winelands, only a short, scenic drive from Cape Town, we are conveniently located to host your event in the tranquillity of the country while still close to urban amenities. We offer half and full day conference packages which include venue hire and set-up, standard conference equipment and exquisite catering.
The Franschhoek Cellar has no less than 4 event venues for events of any sort and size. There's The Venue, The Mountain View that overlooks the mountains, The Lapa with its thatched boma and The Platform is a remodelled old railway platform. More....

Mark Haze and his band pay tribute to the classic rock era and the songs that shaped the world of Rock n’ Roll for decades to come, to the greats and his music heroes, The Beatles, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Queen, Deep Purple, Guns & Roses, Elvis Presley, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Pink Floyd, Journey and many many more!
Mark hails from Goodwood, Cape Town and says “Our house was always filled with music. My parents say that when I was 2 years old they would find me standing in front of the Hi-Fi singing at the top of my lungs to Bruce Springsteen, Queen, and Duran Duran. Even then, I loved performing in front of people.”
Throughout his formative years, Mark played and sang with various bands. He is well known as the popular runner-up in SA Idols 2011. He was picked up for a recording contract with Universal Records and is playing shows all over the country as well as across the borders with his band.
Mark says “I have had the opportunity to perform alongside some of the world’s greatest musicians as well as meet people from all over the world. The variety in the shows that I am able to do keeps me on my toes and I am very excited at every opportunity that continues to come my way. Throughout everything I’ve gone through and will continue to go through, I know that I am truly blessed to be able to do what I love to do and have always dreamed of doing every day. It’s because of this, that I perform every show as if it was my last!” Mark was the official support acts for Rock ‘n Roll legends Bon Jovi on their 2013 World Tour.
Masters of Rock features a full 5-piece band ready to deliver those classic stage guitar solos coupled with the long hair and leather jackets tied in with amazing vocals.
Dinner will be served from 18h00 (A la carte menu and full bar available.) Please note there will be no service during the show which is in 2 x 45 minute halves with a 20 min interval.

One of Franschhoek Cellar‘s most popular attractions is our fantastic covered play park, where kids can play for hours under the attentive supervision of our capable childminders, giving parents complete peace of mind to enjoy a wine tasting or the sumptuous offerings of our restaurant in the tranquil courtyard. The spacious surrounds allow kids the freedom to run around and have fun to heart’s content.
