Tapas and Oysters is a vibrant waterside restaurant on Thesen Island with views over the Knysna Lagoon towards the iconic Knysna Heads. We are well known for our great food, friendly service and vibey atmosphere. With a wide selection of Spanish, Mediterranean and South African Tapas, you are bound to find something that tickles your taste buds. In addition to our Tapas menu, we also offer oysters (fresh from our oyster tanks), fresh seafood dishes, homemade dips, pizza, crunchy salads, and desserts. All Tapas dishes are served with our freshly-baked rocket salt baguettes. Don’t forget about our legendary Steak, Egg & Chips, best served with an ice-cold beer available on tap.
If you are not in the mood for Tapas, why not try some of our sushi dishes? All sushi dishes and sushi platters are prepared to order in our Sushi Bar. Some of our customer favourites include our crispy fried California rolls, crispy fashion sandwiches and the all-time winner, the shrimp tempura roll. Feeling daring, try our “Tapas Favourite” Pickled Jalapeno Poppers with a side order of our specially aged chilli Tequila. Not for the faint-hearted!
