The Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton is pleased to unveil it’s all new and improved ONE80° Pool Deck and Bar.

The naming and soft upgrade of the space is a natural progression for the property as society socially emerges from strict pandemic regulations. It is an intentional move to differentiate the open-air space from many of the other hotel facilities and amenities.

“There’s a noticed demand for more outdoor spaces for people to socialize regardless of the changing seasons. This is understandable since we’ve all been isolated and indoors for the past two years. The space is specifically created to welcome walk-in guests as well as guests staying at the hotel,” says General Manager, Shaun Wheeler. “We welcome the return of social events to the hotel and look forward to making many memories at the ONE80° Pool Deck and Bar with all of our guests.”

As the name suggests, the rooftop space boasts a 180° view of Sandton with a 15m lap pool centered in the middle of the deck. A dedicated pool bar ensures a steady flow of ice-cold cocktails and drinks, along with an exclusive menu. Whether it’s a ribs n’ wings combo basket, a freshly made pizza that is baked in the rooftop pizza oven or Nutella and strawberries waffle, guests won’t go hungry.

To celebrate the new name and upgrade to the pool area, ONE80° Pool Deck and Bar is hosting the first of many Saturday Sessions on the 11th of June 2022 in partnership with Aperol and Campari. The public are invited to the pool deck to enjoy a chilled house set by DJ Chase from 1pm – 4pm. Snack platters and pizzas will be available with various drinks specials to celebrate the return of Saturday Sessions.
