Fairlawns Welcomes New Pastry Chef, Jerry Magae

We are excited to introduce Jerry Magae as Fairlawns' new Pastry Chef! With over a decade of experience, Jerry’s culinary journey began in family kitchens, sparking a lifelong passion for baking.
After studying Hospitality and honing his skills, Jerry represented South Africa at a prestigious culinary competition in Dubai.
Since moving to Gauteng in 2018, Jerry has excelled in leadership roles at top hotels, further refining his craft. Known for his expertise and infectious laughter, he’s already become a beloved member of our team.
“We are thrilled to have Jerry with us and look forward to the delicious desserts and pastries he’ll create for our guests,” says Executive Chef Gareth Jordaan.
