9th Avenue Waterside were honoured to receive the Best Restaurant in Durban award from the South Africa Restaurant Awards.

The team extended heartfelt thanks to every staff member who continues to serve with joyful hearts and passion each day, as well as to valued guests and brand partners for their continued love and support.

Special appreciation was also given to the team at Zula Beach South Africa for nurturing the new venture with vision and dedication.

There is now great anticipation for what Mist at Gillitts Station will become when it opens in June.

Recognition was also given to TMD Studios, who were tasked with the ambitious brief of building a restaurant around the number nine — a vision they brought to life with exceptional creativity.

The result is a striking symbiosis between nature, ocean reclamation and architecture, honouring what was there while creating something truly iconic in celebration of Durban.
