When Christoffel Hazenwinkel first established his farm on the Bottelary Hills in 1699, he named it Hazendal for the abundance of Cape Hares (hazen, in Dutch) in the valley.

With April being the month of Easter – and a bunny bearing chocolate goodies – we thought it only fitting to lay on a super spread of events and special deals for visitors.

Easter Hampers

Spoil yourself to Hazendal’s Easter Box filled with treats to keep the whole family smiling. Each box includes a pack of handcrafted chocolate eggs, Easter cookies and homemade hot-cross buns fresh from our estate bakery. We’ll also include a bottle of our Christoffel Hazenwinkel wine. The box is made of wood and can be reused for storing. The lid also serves as a tray.
