Die Strandloper Restaurant

Die Strandloper is an internationally famous seafood restaurant situated on the Western Cape beach of Langebaan and offers ten courses over 3 to 4 hours. Lunch starts at 12am and spans the afternoon and Dinner starting at 18h00 goes into the evening.  

Booking is Essential!

Guests can either avail of the beach bar or bring their own (and ice). There are convenient B&B’s nearby for those wishing to stay over.

Weddings on the beach

Romantic idyllic beach weddings, small and intimate, or large with guests of two hundred, are popular and successful. We have a wedding co-ordinator who is hands on and able to guide you and assist you in booking the perfect beach wedding with us.

Corporate Functions and Parties 

Be it groups, corporate functions, parties, birthdays or weddings with preparation “Die Strandloper” can make the occasion memorable. It is advised to brief the group in preparation so they realize what they can expect.

No high heels, this is a relaxed and informal licenced seafood restaurant. Guests are also welcome to bring their own drinks. At least a litre or a six pack per person, and ice!  If you travel by coach, enjoy a champagne and orange juice, bring your musical instrument and games to play on the beach.
