Die Plaasmol

Die Plaasmol is a hidden gem just 5km outside of Hopefield in the direction of Langebaan, on the R45.  If you are on route to the West Coast, this is THE place to stop.

The Family owned farm boasts a coffee shop, pet shop, curio/gift shop and a nursery.  Guests are offered far more than the average farm stall.  One can spend hours marvelling at the simple, but effective attention to detail created with obvious love and care by the owners.

The Coffee Shop "Die Koringkriek" offers home cooked meals.  The Bakery sells freshly baked biscuits, jams and sweets.  The honey produced by local farms is always a hit.

"Muisnes" Pet Shop/Farm Yard is a delightful visit for both young and old.  Children can enjoy feeding, touching and observing the animals.  It is a great venue for Children's parties.

The Route 45 Waterhole Bar is run separately.  Whether you want to wind down with a cold one, enjoy the rugby on the big screen, or bring the family for a braai, it's a great way to experience the outdoors, while enjoying spectacular sunsets.  Our fynbos walking trails are a must, and we have a tar landing strip.

Die Plaasmol supports the local business community by sourcing products locally where possible and promotes Hopefield as a destination, and not just a pass by.
