Cattle Baron Skukuza Grill & Bistro - Kruger National Park

The Cattle Baron Skukuza (Grill and Bistro) in the Kruger National Park, opened its doors in 2014. The restaurant in Skukuza Camp is an excellent place to spot wildlife and numerous bird species in the vicinity, lions are frequently spotted along this route. At night, look for the Fruit Bat that hangs under the leaves, and the thick-tailed Bush Baby climbing the trees in search of gum.

Our menu features many favourites, however we are renowned for our mouth-watering steaks. The secret of our success lies in the preparation and aging of our meat. Our perfectly-aged grain fed beef is wet-aged for up to 28 days, ensuring our steaks are consistently juicy, tender and full of flavour.

Cattle Baron is home to the famous flaming Chateaubriand fillet steak, served perfectly every time. Other signature dishes that have remained on our menu for decades, include the legendary 600g T-Bone steak. The restaurant menu also include the most amazing Salads, Burgers, Ribs, Chicken, Seafood and Venison dishes.

We also have a Cattle Baron Take-Away restaurant for the “not so hungry” customers, the menu has a big variety ranging from Burgers, Salads, homemade Venison pies, or just a soft serve ice cream for the heat.
