With over two decades of experience crafting award-winning wines for renowned South African brands, Pieter has earned a place among the prestigious Globalwinemasters – Top 100 Winemakers in the World. Now a sought-after consultant dedicated to elevating the local wine industry, Pieter brings his passion for all things wine to an unforgettable evening at Taj Cape Town.
Guests will embark on an intimate and educational journey into the art of winemaking, guided by Pieter and complemented by a gourmet dinner crafted by Taj’s Chef Surendra and his expert culinary team.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy a curated selection of five exceptional Nederburg wines, each expertly paired with a dish that offers a refreshing and insightful twist on traditional wine pairings.
Executive Chef Surendra’s vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus showcase bold flavours and refined Indian cuisine, a symphony of textures and spices where each dish is a masterful blend of tradition and innovation.
Pieter will share his winemaking philosophy and offer valuable insights into the nuances of food and wine pairing.
