The Square Restaurant
The Square is our courtyard restaurant, where guests can enjoy exquisite breakfasts, light lunches, and seasonal dinners featuring modern twists on classic mains. Our breakfast buffet is legendary, offering traditional favourites, creative healthy options, and the freshest in-house juices, breads, and baked goods.
Garden Lounge and Patio
Backdropped by the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, it’s the perfect place for breakfast, snacks, lunch, tea or a light meal while watching our resident tortoises stroll along the lawns through the changing backdrop of the garden.
Morii Restaurant – Moments worth sharing
Morii (pronounced “More-rey”) captures the ease and generosity of Italian cooking, expressed through Cape Town’s local produce and changing seasons. Expect handmade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, a selection of Italian and local wines, and thoughtful plates that bring people together.
Long Cafe
If there’s one thing about Cape Town, it’s our renowned coffee culture. Whatever the weather, Long Café at The Vineyard ticks all the boxes — freshly roasted coffees from around the world, the best pastries in the ’burbs, moreish bagels, and comforting breakfast favourites, right here in Newlands.

As the evenings grow longer and the air begins to cool, join us on the Garden Lounge Patio for relaxed wine tastings hosted by local wine farms, with the mountain and gardens as your backdrop. These informal evenings are about good wine, easy conversation, and enjoying the setting as the light softens.
Complimentary tastings run from 5–7 pm and are available exclusively to guests dining with us.
