T A N K is a fine dining restaurant with an emphasis on the multidimensional sensory experience. Our food style is described as Pacific Rim influenced coupled with Californian style new wave sushi.
Centrally situated in Cape Town’s famous “Cape Quarter”, The Tank is very meticulous and enthusiastic about its food. We are dedicated to both the authenticity of flavour and artful presentation of the cuisine. The sophisticated minimalistic interior features a colossal fish tank cleverly dividing the bar area from the main restaurant.
Our extensive menu offers a selection of dishes. Both the Breast of Duck and Norwegian Salmon come highly recommended however sushi is a house specialty, and fresh Californian new wave sushi is expertly prepared.

Directions
From Muizenberg take the M3 through to Eastern Boulevard. From there take the Strand Street offramp and follow the road across Buitengracht Street. Then turn right into Hudson and then take the first left into Waterkant Street. Proceed to the new Cape Quarter.
